Report Output and Print

vCAIRE allows the usage of an arbitrary layouting engine or an output management system. The finished individualized report (including client specific structure and data) is delivered to the layouting system as XML (e.g. via message queue, web service or file system). The layouting system then produces the output file in the desired format (e.g. as PDF) and connects to your printers or enterprise printing and distribution systems.

Layout engines or output management systems (OMS)

vCAIRE can connect to an arbitrary system that is able to process XML as input. If needed, an adapter using another format can be custom made of course.

So far vCAIRE has been tested with the following systems:

  • Assentis DocFamilyTM
  • GMC PrintNetTM
  • Microsoft Word/ExcelTM

Advantages

With the reporting suite vCAIRE you can reuse the output management system already in operation and therefore produce all your printed papers in a common CI.

Depending on your needs you can choose an inexpensive layouting with flexible post-editing (Microsoft Office) or an output management system with high throughput and a variety of additional features (archiving, printing systems, insert control, distribution, etc.)
